Lloyd Mc Ginnis, Martha Mc Ginnis

Raised on a farm in Middle America during the Great Depression, just outside of Filmore, Indiana. Near Greencastle. No brothers and sisters. My mother won a custody battle when I was twelve.We moved to Indianapolis,Indiana. Then we moved to Troy,New Yorkwhen I was 14 years of age.

Entered the Army in 1944. Served in the Philippines and Okinawa. Returned and was discharged in April of 1947.

Big Band Singer in and around Albany and Troy, NY (1947)

Photographers' Assistant, Hollywood, Ca. (1949)

Editor of a Television Magazine (Televiews) Houston,Texas (1952)

Resident Manager, Bar-W-Guest Ranch, Las Vegas, Nevada (1953)

Country Club Manager, Washington,Georgia (1955)

Display Designer, "Richs Deptment Store", Atlanta, Georgia (1955)

Display Designer "Foley's", Houston, Texas (1957)

Methodist Minister 1960-1976, North Texas Conference 


Education:

Primary

High school, La Salle Military Academy, Troy, New York.(Did not graduate. Left in the third year, to go in the Army)

A Post Graduate Degree; BD. Perkins School Of Theology, Southern Methodist University Dallas, Texas (1967)

Additional Education: Married For Thirty-five Years:
Alana, 7yrs; Babs, 11yrs; Ceci, 5yrs; Dede, 7yrs; Elle, 5yrs.

Not married at the present time.

And 81 years of living, a great and wonderful life.

Most all of them.
Still play singles and doubles in Tennis.
